Allotments

Allotment gardening can be a very rewarding pastime providing an affordable source of fruit and vegetables and an opportunity to meet people with a common interest.

Bishops Clyst Parish Council owns and manages an allotment site with 23 plots and a mains water supply. If you are interested in renting an allotment please email the Parish Clerk to join the waiting list.

The allotment plots are leased for the period of one year from April to March. When an allotment becomes available the Parish Clerk will send you a tenancy agreement which should be signed and returned with payment for the first year’s rent; this can by made by bank transfer or cheque made payable to Bishops Clyst Parish Council. The rent for the period 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 is £22, plus water charge per allotment plot. Water charge to be paid in arrears.
